Chief Financial Officer Services

BCG can:

  • Develop and enhance your internal controls to increase operational efficiencies and ensure all performance information for all firm-sponsored vehicles, separately-managed accounts and proprietary accounts is properly calculated and financial reporting is complaint with all applicable rules, covenants and regulations.
  • Develop and promote a framework that drives financial accountability across the organization. BCG can monitor financial performance and provide timely and meaningful information to management to facilitate informed decisions.
  • Oversee preparation of all financial records and required filings.
  • Manage all banking and broker relationships.
  • Manage client billing and monitor the same for timely collection.
  • Implement a cash management system to invest excess cash for client, fund and proprietary accounts to maximize earnings while ensuring sufficient cash is available to support trading. BCG can evaluate and suggest investment options based on your criteria.
  • Review and approve your daily/monthly NAV calculations.
  • Oversee the annual audits of your private funds, including review and approval of the audited financial statements.
  • Direct all tax reporting and related compliance efforts. Review and approve returns for each private fund and all tax filings for the management company and related entities including corporate and partnership returns, annual reports, FBARs, 1099s, 5500s, sales tax, and 8886s. Ensure good standing in all relevant jurisdictions.
  • Prepare periodic payroll and all related quarterly and annual payroll returns. Ensure timely payment of all required payroll tax related deposits.
  • Manage your accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of all counterparties.
  • Manage your 401k plan – Process priodic contributions and monitor timely and proper investment.  Partner with outside RIA to select investment options and monitor performance. Perform annual testing.

Chief Operating Officer Services

BCG can:

  • Lead and manage day to day operations including providing direction, coordination and control to facilitate effective and profitable operations as well as compliance with all required regulatory guidelines.
  • Direct and manage launch of firm-sponsored vehicles and separately-managed account relationships. Work with counsel to develop offering memorandum, negotiate advisory agreements, and ensure proper registration in each required jurisdiction. Facilitate the opening of all bank and brokerage accounts. Select and establish relationships with service providers. Direct coordination of information flow amongst all parties and ensure proper operational set up internally. Ensure all required compliance procedures have been addressed prior to launch.
  • Direct day to day operations of firm-sponsored vehicles and separately-managed accounts including oversight of third party administrators and periodic onsite reviews. Oversee financial and performance reporting, investor reporting, regulatory compliance, and compliance with any applicable covenants.
  • Serve as a director for your firm-sponsored vehicles.
  • Manage counterparty relationships across the organization. Conduct due diligence for the selection of third party service providers, including auditors, administrators, brokers, banks and directors and other significant vendors. Negotiate terms. Perform ongoing monitoring and due diligence while continually assessing areas of need or change. Resolve issues that arise. Facilitate two-way counterparty reviews.
  • Design and implement strategic improvements firm-wide.
  • Support investor relations in communicating information regarding management company operations and trading program performance to potential investors and clients. Facilitate investments in firm-sponsored vehicles and separately-managed accounts. Direct the operations/financial portions of investor due diligence conferences.
  • Lead internal human resources function including selection of service providers and negotiation of contract terms for employee benefit programs. Conduct performance appraisal of personnel.Manage personnel issues. Manage the hiring process including evaluation of personnel needs, selection of candidates, conduct of interviews, order and evaluation of background checks. Negotiate terms of employment agreements.

Compliance Officer Services

BCG can:

  • Oversee compliance of firm-sponsored vehicles and separately-managed accounts with respect to NFA regulations, exchange listing requirements, covenants of governing documents and advisory agreements, and foreign tax regulations as applicable. Monitor ERISA compliance.
  • Review accounts traded within same trading program to ensure fair allocation of investment opportunities.
  • Manage your firm’s compliance with all registration requirements and applicable regulations of the National Futures Association. Ensure proper licensing of all principals/personnel. Monitor ongoing compliance. Review and approve all required quarterly/annual regulatory filings. Complete the required annual self-examination.
  • Review and approve marketing materials and other investor communications including periodic marketing pieces, due diligence questionnaires, and information requests. Ensure all information is accurate and properly supported, is presented in compliance with relevant regulations, and that all required disclosures are included.
  • Work with your outside counsel to register the management company as an SEC registered investment advisor. Can assist in the development/update of your compliance manual related procedures.Prepare annual PF submission and support ADV updates.
